John Putnam to Present on Drones, Municipalities

On July 27, 2016, John Putnam will participate in a webinar for the Colorado Municipal League (CML) to discuss the opportunities and challenges that the state of Colorado is facing with drones.  Unmanned aerial systems provide new capacity to provide improved municipal service at lower cost, including utility operations, fire and police service, and property management. Yet drone use by third parties also creates increasing concerns about public safety, privacy, and management of municipal property. Additionally, the FAA is expected to issue new regulations regarding small commercial use drones in late June, and if so, those regulations also will be addressed in this webinar.  Please visit CML's website for additional information regarding this webinar.  Registration is required for this webinar; print this registration form and mail it to CML to complete your registration!
