Angelica  K. Pedraza

Angelica Pedraza’s practice focuses on real estate, land use, and public and private financing. She represents public and private sector clients with small- and large-scale development projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Angelica was a senior associate in the real estate group of a national law firm where she represented investment banks, insurance companies, commercial banks, and other financial institutions in real estate finance transactions. Her practice included financing a variety of property types: retail, multifamily, office, hotel and industrial assets, as well as multi-asset portfolios.  Angelica also previously worked at a global law firm where, in addition to her real estate practice, she worked on leveraged finance transactions in Latin America.

Angelica interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York where she worked on national security and cybercrimes matters.

Representative Experience

Prior to joining the Firm, Angelica:

  • Represented a bank in the origination of a $510 million mortgage loan secured by New York City property with a leasehold condominium structure in place.
  • Represented a client in the origination of a $100 million mortgage loan secured by a commercial and residential condominium property.
  • Represented a lender in the origination of a $90 million mortgage loan secured by an 18 property multi­family portfolio and a related $18 million mezzanine loan.
  • Represented a client in the origination of an $89 million mortgage loan secured by a Hilton-franchised hotel property.
  • Represented a life insurance company in the origination of a $36 million fixed and floating rate mortgage loan secured by a 264-unit multi-family property, which contemplated future advances for apartment renovations.
  • Represented a lending syndicate in a $1.02 billion mortgage loan secured by the Willis Tower in Chicago.
  • Represented infrastructure investing firm in its proposed lease of a regional airport under the FAA pilot privatization program.
  • Represented a major gaming company in obtaining a $450 million credit facility secured by one of its casino facilities.
  • Represented Argentina’s largest energy company in obtaining a $600 million credit facility for the financing of its acquisition of Petrobras Argentina.
  • Represented a lender in originating a $1.05 billion mortgage and multi-layer mezzanine securitized loan secured by a prominent Miami hotel.
