Shanita Asante

Shanita Asante concentrates her practice on airport federal regulations, minimum standards, including civil rights Title VI compliance, and project delivery. As a certified mediator, Shanita is experienced with negotiating contract and wage disputes, drafting procedural dismissals, regulatory compliance, and investigations. 

Prior to joining Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell, Shanita worked at the Transportation Security Administration as an equal employment specialist and mediator.

Representative Experience

Prior to joining the Firm, Shanita:

  • Counseled federal employees on Title VII Civil Rights compliance and managed workplace discrimination cases
  • Resolved workforce disputes between management and non-supervisory employees
  • Negotiated and drafted settlement terms for employment law compliance
  • Investigated large airport workforces to assess civil rights violations
