On September 12, 2016, Bill Silberstein received the Colorado Open Space Alliance (COSA) Blue Grama Award for Outstanding Achievement by an Individual. The award is given to an individual that has made significant contributions to the conservation of Colorado’s open spaces. This award also recognizes the outstanding leadership achievement in the management, conservation, or acquisition of open space – both public and private.
COSA started as an association for public agencies dedicated to open space but has grown to include many NGO’s, non-profits, land trusts, and other organizations.
