Eric Smith and Steven Osit will present at the Legal Affairs Committee Meeting on Sunday, July 18 as part of the Florida Airports Council Annual Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Their session titled, “It’s a Drone…It’s a Plane…It’s…Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)!” will explore the legal and policy considerations that airports should begin evaluating now to prepare for AAM, including the laws and regulations regarding the siting of vertiports, the line between local, state, and federal authority, AIP grant assurance implications, facility requirements, and safety.
