On April 13, 2012, the FAA amended five Grant Assurances to conform to the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012.  The amendments concern the following topics:  residential through-the-fence access to General Aviation airports, veteran’s preference, use of airport revenue, the Airport Layout Plan, and disposal of noise land.  The FAA made the changes effective immediately but will take comments until May 14, 2012, and will consider further changes.
