Firm Partner John Putnam will speak at the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority’s 2026 Greater Northwest Rail Summit in Helena, Montana, as part of Plenary Session 1, “The Big Sky North Coast Corridor of Opportunity: Its Transformative Impact on People and Communities.”

The session will examine the far-reaching benefits of long-distance passenger rail, including its ability to connect diverse communities, provide flexible travel options across vast regions, and support safe, convenient, and environmentally compatible transportation. Panelists will also discuss opportunities to maximize these benefits and explore why the Big Sky North Coast Corridor is considered one of the nation’s most significant transportation projects of the first half of the 21st century.
