The City of Burbank and the Burbank Hollywood Airport have been negotiating over the construction of a replacement terminal for the aging existing terminal building.  The negotiations, which have been on-again-off-again for decades, call for a development agreement between the City and the Airport Authority and a change in the governance of the Airport Authority to give the City increased influence over key airport decisions.  Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell has been representing Burbank in this matter since the mid-1990s.  For a detailed summary of the terminal replacement written by the LA Times, click here.
