The Colorado PUC handed our client, Solar Energy Industries Association (“SEIA”), a significant victory on net metering policy in Colorado.  Large traditional utilities like Xcel Energy mounted a national campaign to roll back net metering and other rooftop solar policies that the utilities perceive to threaten their monopoly electricity sales position.  After an 18-month docket, the Commission decided to leave net metering policy in Colorado as is for the time being, resulting in a huge win for the solar industry.  We represented SEIA in a coalition of rooftop solar advocates and businesses in the proceeding.
