Partner, Sarah Keane, co-presented at the Colorado Municipal League Special Conference on Thursday, September 23, 2021. The session, “Colorado’s Climate Furture,” focused on the state’s plans to achieve its ambitious goals to curb greenhouse gas emissions. In 2019, The Colorado General Assembly passed HB 19-1261, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and 90% by 2050 and will require a concerted effort at every level of government. This session also focused on centering racial and economic equity and the role and responsibility of municipal government to address the issue.
