The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Airports has released a draft Advisory Circular 150/5050-4A, Community Involvement in Airport Planning.  The draft is intended to replace the prior Advisory Circular that was published in 1975 and to advise the industry and public on strategies for community engagement.  FAA personnel will use the draft A/C when counseling airport sponsors and planners regarding early community involvement.

The FAA is accepting comments through November 8, 2016.  Copies of the draft A/C, comments matrix, and the FAA industry letter can be found on FAA’s website.
