Lovely Bonhomme

Lovely Bonhomme’s practice focuses on representing both private and public-sector clients in a breadth of corporate transactions. Her deep understanding of state and federal laws equips her with the ability to provide seamless counsel to her clients throughout the entirety of a project and implement creative solutions to complex financing issues. 

Prior to joining the Firm, Lovely worked at an international law firm where she represented corporate clients in various financing transactions. She also served as a General Attorney in the Office of Disaster Assistance for the United States Small Business Administration where she guided small businesses through the disaster assistance lending process.

During law school, Lovely served as the Editor-in-Chief for the CUNY Law Review and was the Founder of the Law, Innovation, Philanthropy, and Social Enterprise Society.

Representative Experience

  • Engaged by an American investment bank to identify and mitigate regulatory risks associated with third party vendor contracts that included identifying contract gaps in master services agreements.
  • Appointed to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance as a General Attorney to assist small business owners in complying with the ODA’s rules and regulations related to financing.
  •  Engaged by an international nongovernmental organization (NGO) to undertake research into complex human rights issues such as post-conflict transition, land rights, atrocity prevention, and violence against women and to assist local civil society actors with advocacy, training, legislative reform, and international and regional human rights litigation/engagement.
  • Represented an energy sector contractor with the amendment and upsizing of its first lien term loan facility and a new ABL facility for the acquisition of an energy service provider company.
  • Represented a multinational investment bank in connection with a committed financing.
  • Represented the portfolio company of a private equity firm with several incremental debt facilities to increase its revolving credit and term loan facilities.
  • Represented a multinational asset manager in connection with a fund financing.
