On November 16, 2017, partner Peter Kirsch participated in an ACC Institute online training program called “The FAA Process for Involving Airports in NextGen Implementation: Lessons from the Phoenix Litigation.” This program provided an overview of the Court of Appeals decision in Phoenix v. FAA and the implications of that decision for airports’ involvement in NextGen implementation and planning. His presentation examined how the FAA’s views on sponsor involvement have evolved over the last year or two.
If you would like further information on how airports can best position themselves for a meaningful role and can best keep their communities informed about the changes that will result from NextGen implementation, please contact Peter Kirsch.
