With a career spanning three continents, I help clients structure, finance, and deliver complex transportation and social infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on transportation. My practice includes advising on project development, procurement, and contract management under a range of different delivery models, in addition to advising on owner-readiness matters such as governance, intergovernmental and third-party agreements, and the institutionalization of best practices in project delivery.
Anna Hermelin has eighteen years of experience advising on infrastructure projects across all asset classes, with particular expertise in transport and social infrastructure projects. Currently based in the United States, Anna previously spent time advising on projects across Asia and Europe.
Anna’s experience includes advising government agencies, private sector bidders, and funders and she therefore has a clear understanding of the needs of each stakeholder group when structuring and implementing an infrastructure project. Anna advises on all aspects of project delivery, including owner readiness, structuring, risk analysis, financing, procurement, and contract management. Anna’s experience spans multiple delivery methods including P3, traditional design-build and design-bid-build, and progressive delivery models including progressive P3/pre-development agreements, progressive design-build, and CM/GC/CMAR.
In transportation, Anna has advised on multiple road, transit, rail and airport transportation projects and in social infrastructure, Anna has advised on water and wastewater, school, social infrastructure and government facility, and transit-oriented development, and energy and renewable projects.
Prior to starting her legal career, Anna spent over eight years working primarily in the finance and technology sector.
