Kirsten Crawford is an experienced land use and real estate attorney, specializing in complex land use and zoning entitlements, public financing mechanisms, and structuring development to achieve the goals of both the public and private sector.
Since joining the Firm, she has negotiated and advised on multiple development agreements involving public financing sources such as tax increment, state and federal tax credits, regulatory and administrative fees and/or municipal bond revenues. Kirsten also advises on the formation of special purpose entities, including drafting formation ballot measures and TABOR ballot questions for ad valorem, sales, and use taxes. She has successfully guided stakeholders through significant public-private partnerships and large-scale mixed-use developments involving commercial and residential development including affordable housing deed restricted units.
Kirsten previously served as Town Attorney for Breckenridge and held two roles with the City and County of Denver: Legislative Counsel to the Denver City Council and Staff Attorney for Denver International Airport.
